Prices as of October 2026, in US dollars.
Tribble starts at $500 a month for a team of up to 10 people. Tribble Respond is priced per project and Tribble Engage per user, and the Brain, where your approved answers live, is included with both.
What does Tribble cost?
Tribble starts at $500 a month for a team of up to 10 people on Start. Team starts at $15,000 a year for Tribble Respond, which covers 100 projects, and Tribble Engage is $40 per user per month. Brain, which licenses the whole organization, starts at $50,000 a year.
What counts as a project?
A project is each RFP, DDQ or security questionnaire you answer with Tribble Respond. On Team, everyone who helps answer it is included, so bringing in an expert costs nothing extra. Clarification and best-and-final rounds of the same RFP stay one project; a separate questionnaire for the same deal is its own.
How many people can use Start?
Up to 10 named people, and that limit is firm: Start does not take an eleventh person at any price. A team that needs more moves to Team, where everyone who helps answer is included. Projects work differently: past the 3 a month included, each extra project is $150.
Can a small team buy Tribble without a sales call?
Yes. Start is built for that. You choose monthly or annual, add up to 10 people, upload your documents and run your next RFP or questionnaire, with a setup guide and a short video for each step. The setup is designed to have you answering within 24 hours, without anyone from Tribble involved.
What do I need to set up on Start?
Your documents and your next RFP or questionnaire. Upload past responses, policies and product documents, publish them as approved sources, and add your team. Start runs in the web app and does not connect to your other tools, so there is nothing for IT to approve before you begin.
How do I get help on Start?
Start comes with a setup guide, a short video for each step and a searchable FAQ. Questions go to our support team by email, and a weekly 30-minute group setup session is open to every Start customer. Hands-on onboarding with a named contact is part of Team.
When does a team need Team instead of Start?
When you need more than 10 people, single sign-on, or Tribble connected to your other tools. Team adds Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Box, Salesforce, HubSpot and Gong, answers in Slack and Microsoft Teams, single sign-on, and onboarding with our team. You upgrade in place and keep everything.
What is the difference between Team and Brain?
Team licenses one team on Tribble Respond, Tribble Engage or both. Brain licenses the organization: every team on one shared source of approved answers, with org-wide admin, roles, governance and an audit history on every answer. Brain also includes coaching and practice for 25 users, which is an add-on on Team.
How is Tribble Engage priced?
Tribble Engage is $40 per user per month, billed annually, from 10 users. It includes Scribe, which records calls and drafts follow-ups and CRM updates, and the same approved answers your proposal team uses. Coaching and practice is an add-on at $55 per user per month, or included for 25 users on Brain.
Who sets us up?
Tribble's customer success team, led by Ray Taylor, who was a Director of Customer Success at Salesforce. On Start you get his team's quick start: a setup guide, a short video for each step and a weekly group session. On Team and Brain his team onboards you with a named contact; a rollout typically takes two to four weeks.
When is Brain cheaper than Team?
When you need coaching. 150 Respond projects, 50 Engage users and coaching for 25 of them cost $63,000 a year on Team. Brain starts at $50,000 with all three included, plus org-wide admin and governance. Without coaching, the same Team setup costs $46,500.
Is there a free trial?
No. Start's monthly plan works as one: pay for a month, run real RFPs or questionnaires, and cancel before the next month if it is not for you. You can export your content before you go.
Is Start less secure than Team?
No. Every plan runs on the same platform, and Tribble is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Team adds single sign-on and connections to your other tools, and Brain adds org-wide roles, governance and audit history. The security model underneath does not change.
Worked examples
Edge cases
- Is a second round of the same RFP a new project?
- No. One RFP, however many clarification or best-and-final rounds, is one project.
- Is a security questionnaire that arrives with an RFP a separate project?
- Yes. Each questionnaire or DDQ is its own project, even for the same deal.
- Does this year's update of last year's DDQ count?
- Yes. Each year's DDQ is a new project.
- Does a 20-question form cost the same as a 400-question RFP?
- Yes. A project is a project; there are no size bands.
- Do questions answered in Slack, Teams or a portal count as projects?
- No. Single questions are not projects.
- Can an eleventh person join Start?
- No. Start is capped at 10 people, with no overage on people. A larger team moves to Team, where everyone who helps answer is included.
- What happens past 3 projects in a month on Start?
- Each extra project is $150, with no monthly limit. Projects can go over; people cannot.
- Do unused Start projects roll over?
- Not on monthly Start. Annual Start pools 36 projects across the year, and projects past that are $150 each.
- Can I move from Start to Team partway through a month?
- Yes. You upgrade in place and what you have paid is credited.
- Can I cancel Start?
- Monthly Start ends at the end of the month you cancel in, and you can export your content first.
- Can we add or remove Engage users?
- Add them any time, prorated. Reduce the count at renewal.
